Its Julia…Betch

Life. A word that I think we all take a little too lightly, and we don’t even know it.

Today, my friend Monica got word that her friend Veronica had died the night before in a car accident. I didn’t know her, but it made me think, about how randomly life can be taken away.

Death is a really hard concept to get your head around, and you don’t really think about it too much until, sometime happens to you or someone around you. On my way home from school today I was thinking about life after death. Is there one? Do you just go to sleep? Is your soul still alive? These are things that I don’t want to think about, but are relevant.

I noticed something today. Whenever you hear about someone dying, they are always happy, when people are sad and they “want to die” they never do, only when you become okay with your life, its abruptly taken away from you, usually in the most horrible way.

If there is anything that I have learned in this whole ideal, is that we ALL need to live our lives to the absolute fullest, everyday because when your ticket is up, its up.

I really hope that no one has to go through this kind of ordeal anytime soon.
